GNAM GNAM: A Florence Food-Finding Website
During my junior year of college, I had the great opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. This is a website I created for my UI/UX research methods class, focused on the extensive food scene in Florence. It is designed to help tourists find the perfect meal and to help business owners connect with the community.
On the restaurant hunting side, users can search for specific types of food, explore popular options, and see which places are hosting special events or offering promotions. The page design is intended to reference a trifold menu. Its sections are modular and can be expanded or minimized, allowing users to view a large amount of information at once and easily compare options.
To navigate to the business owner side, simply click the profile button and toggle the business view switch. In this view, you can check your page statistics, create posts to share with the community, edit your business page information, and preview the changes you’ve made.
